Penrhos head tells school parents why a convicted child sex offender resides in her home

The top of prestigious girls’ school Penrhos has revealed to parents her decision permit a sex offender are now living in her home after his release from jail.
Principal Meg Melville said in the email to any or all parents on Sunday a relative released on parole in August from a sentence for “serious sexual crimes committed against children” was living at her western suburbs home until he what food was in a situation to reside independently.

Victor Ian Melville was jailed for six years inside the District Court in 2005 for sex offences against underage girls inside the 1980s.
