Any time have to the amazing wedding speech be presented…?
How weddings have changed over the decades! Coming from a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; an easy wedding car to expensive and large wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
While we’re talking about aforementioned, wedding speeches remain a fundamental part of a marriage and guests do anticipate hearing them, talking about them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of groom speech delivered ahead of the meal, through the meal and after your food, however it is of the strong opinion that this wedding speeches needs to be delivered following the meal. I know that for several bridal party speakers i.e. Father with the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the five main speakers), they’d prefer to hold the wedding speeches prior to meal, for them to enjoy their meal (a number of them are paying for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and how many (and even wedding ceremony venue staff) would choose the wedding ceremony speeches to become delivered as soon as the meal for many reasons, most of which include:
The invited guests are already fed and watered and aren’t playing wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be the case prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival on the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served with the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches before the meal as well as their might be a delay of 15 minutes to 1.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition through the meal on the dancing (with nothing happening as soon as the meal, folks are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared in regards to the Bride & Groom then they are fully aware they are able to wake up, move, come out, take a stroll, see a bar…)
It’s not easy for moms and dads in the Bride & Groom to communicate in public areas, as most of them wouldn’t be used of it. So, they may, whenever they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.
There should always be some sort of formal wedding speech(es) following your meal…
