The moment should the perfect wedding speech be delivered…?
How weddings have changed over the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight marriage ceremony members; a simple wedding car to expensive and large wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Talking about the latter, wedding speeches remain a fundamental part of a wedding and guests do enjoy hearing them, referring to them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We know of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, during the meal after the meal, yet it is of the strong opinion the wedding speeches must be delivered following your meal. I know that for several wedding party speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father in the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the five main speakers), they might want to have the wedding speeches before the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (some of them are spending money for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and just how a lot of them (as wll as wedding ceremony venue staff) would choose the marriage speeches to become delivered after the meal for a lot of reasons, some of which include:
The invited guests have been fed and watered and are not playing wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be so prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches ahead of the meal and their could be a delay of Quarter-hour one.5 hours, driving your kitchen staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition in the meal towards the dancing (broke happening following your meal, individuals are expecting ‘a few words’ to become shared about the Bride & Groom and they are fully aware they could get out of bed, maneuver around, have a break, go for a walk, navigate to the bar…)
It can be hard for parents from the Bride & Groom to communicate in public, as most of them would not be used of computer. So, they could, whenever they so wished, speak before the / their meal.
There should be some sort of formal speech(es) following the meal…
