When have to the amazing wedding speech be delivered…?
How weddings have changed in the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight marriage ceremony members; an easy wedding car to expensive and huge wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
While we’re talking about aforementioned, wedding speeches remain a fundamental part of a marriage and guests do anticipate hearing them, discussing them before, during as well as after they’ve been delivered.
We know of wedding speeches delivered ahead of the meal, during the meal and after the meal, however it’s of a strong opinion the wedding speeches should be delivered following the meal. I understand that for a lot of wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father with the father of the bride speech (the 5 main speakers), they will choose to have the wedding speeches prior to meal, for them to enjoy their meal (some of them are paying for it!). However, it is all about the invited guests and the way most of them (and even the marriage venue staff) would like wedding ceremony speeches to get delivered following the meal for most reasons, many of which include:
The invited guests are already fed and watered and are not paying attention to wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which will be so ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival on the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches ahead of the meal as well as their can be quite a delay of Quarter-hour to at least one.5 hours, driving your kitchen staff crazy trying to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding speeches become the transition through the meal towards the dancing (without a penny happening following the meal, everyone is expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared about the Bride & Groom after which they know they’re able to stand up, move around, take a break, go for a walk, see a bar…)
It’s not easy for folks with the Bride & Groom to talk in public places, since most of them may not be used from it. So, they can, when they so wished, speak before the / their meal.
There should nevertheless be some type of formal speech(es) following your meal…
