Most think it is very unsettling to consider the idea that options are actually a fantasy, or illusion of choice, as stated in the Course in Miracles (ACIM). You create choices everyday, so the idea of choice not being real seems highly illogical also to be honest, improbable, given its consistent daily use. Although choices necessary while you are here, it ultimately remains an element of the illusion and isn’t a part of God. Options are unsettling since you trust it being necessary, not because it’s an illusion.”

It makes sense that you will be as to what you think of because this world as you have made the decision, or choice, because of this world actually. Should you carry on making that same choice, it keeps on getting increasingly real. ACIM clearly indicates that ideas don’t leave their source. Who then will be the source? What option is you actually making?

Choice, Perception and Judgment:

You think life is real simply because you made the choice to believe the ego’s type of reality from your original separation. Those initial perceptions are followed by the subsequent choice which is to judge the final results, thereby producing further consequences which reinforce the belief these days. It’s actually a vicious, no-win cycle. Because you perceive you’ll judge; in addition to being you judge you’ll perceive. Error is manufactured real with this simple twisted deception. Withdraw your option to believe inside the results and the error could be corrected.

Choice and Source:

Do you not then function as the source since you are the main one making the decision to trust? You never understand that original separation; however, you are making choices now, and you are doing this continuously. Every moment you happen to be choosing between thoughts, feelings and concepts, etc. Whether it isn’t you, then who do you wish to claim is responsible? Take care, because claiming another is responsible is definitely blame plus you’ve got no chance to change when you think these guys in charge. You are simply making yourself a victim. Both these are ego tricks.

Accepting responsibility for everything, including choice and its consequences is the fastest method to change. This lets you choose again since you start to see the results and know that you’ll want chosen by accident. It is a personal thoughts and beliefs with the decision, or choice, to ensure they are true that becomes the result of the items you see in your world. Regulations of Expected outcomes is very simple: Based on the mind you choose between, as cause, you will see the attached effect.

So long as because you have a split mind, you happen to be constantly choosing between the wrong mind of the ego (error) along with the Right Mind of the Holy Spirit (correction). You will notice the consequence depending on the selection of actually use as cause. You can’t have two masters. In the ego world, it will always be one or the other. Selecting the correction of the Holy Spirit undoes the error in the ego and returns your head towards the peace of God. This method can be known as forgiveness.

Choice for Correction:

Forgiveness is nothing greater than your mind being returned, or corrected, back to reality as you choose for it to be like that. Handing on the ego’s judgments corrects mental performance and correction is exactly what? Forgiveness. A different cause results in a different effect.

Choice is, therefore, necessary on this illusion as there is something to choose between. However, the greatest utilization of options are with knowing the error and correction sides from the split mind, or what you really are choosing between. Then, simply keep in mind that your goal is usually to return your head to True Perception and judge again! It can help to make note of the coinciding terms for True Perception: Correction, forgiveness, salvation, atonement, truth, Holy Spirit and God. There is no difference.

With every gentle correction, that is really a option for the Right Mind, a portion of the system is returned to peace, its rightful and natural place with God. This can be a place in which it never left. It could not be returned to peace were this not all-natural state. Ideas don’t leave their source and you, my buddy, would be the source.
