Get a head start right out of the gate with a Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification. This certification is the foundation certification for Enterprise Wi-Fi in the CWNP family and a jumpstart to earning your network security, design, analysis, and expert certifications.

Do you have an understanding of the fundamentals of wireless technology? Are you familiar with WLAN and how it is managed every day? Do you have the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot and maintain wireless networks within small business or Enterprise deployments?

As the demand for wireless continues to grow, so does the need for certified network administrators.

How to become a Certified Workplace Network Administrator:
The CWNA certification is a foundational level wireless LAN certification for the CWNP Program. You must pass the CWNA exam at a Pearson Vue Testing Center to earn a CWNA certificate. Instructors must score at least 80%. However you choose to prepare for the CWNA exam, you should start with the exam objectives, which cover the full list of skills tested on the exam.

The CWNA certification is valid for three (3) years. Pass one of the professional certification exams (CWSP/CWDP/CWAP) to recertify your CWNA. By doing so, the CWNA will be renewed for another three (3) years. Or retake the current version of the CWNA exam.

While the Certified Wireless Specialist (CWS) and Certified Wireless Technician (CWT) certifications are not a required prerequisite to the CWNA certification, it is highly recommended. It will provide a solid learning foundation before continuing to pursue the CWNA.
