Within this place, Otto Eisenhut, a patient and talented cultivator of plants and trees, cultivated a huge number of beautiful and colourful flowering plants like 950 kinds of camelias, 450 different magnolias, azaleas, peonies and Rhododendron with a the surface of more than 20’000 m2.

Have you ever thought that above Locarno there is a view point where you will see simultaneously the cheapest point (Lago Maggiore) as well as the highest point (Dufour Peak in Monte Rosa) in Switzerland?
