The moment have to the great wedding speech be provided…?
How weddings have changed on the decades! From a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; a simple wedding car to expensive and huge wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Talking about aforementioned, wedding speeches are nevertheless a fundamental part of a married relationship and guests do enjoy hearing them, discussing them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, in the meal after your food, however it’s of your strong opinion how the groom speech ought to be delivered as soon as the meal. I realize that for most wedding party speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father with the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the five main speakers), they will choose to contain the wedding speeches prior to the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (some of them are spending money for it!). However, all is here the invited guests and the way many of them (and even the wedding venue staff) would prefer the marriage speeches to become delivered as soon as the meal for many reasons, most of which include:
The invited guests have been fed and watered and aren’t listening to wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which may be so prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival at the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches prior to meal along with their might be a delay of A quarter-hour to 1.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy always keeping food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding speeches behave as the transition in the meal to the dancing (broke happening as soon as the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared about the Bride & Groom and they are fully aware they can get up, maneuver around, come out, go for a walk, navigate to the bar…)
It’s not easy for fogeys from the Bride & Groom to speak in public places, as the majority of them would not be used than it. So, they could, should they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.
There should still be some type of formal wedding speech(es) following the meal…
