Things To Do In Seaside Oregon
Everyone should know the beach is the place to get when the sunshine has gone out! Once the weather gets warm I pack up your children, grab my honey by your hand, and now we visit Seaside for another fun and unforgettable annual trip. Whether a day trip, a weekend, or even a whole week, Seaside, Oregon is consistently rated probably the most fun and cost-effective beach town on the North Oregon Coast, and that is why it is my go-to beach once i travel my family.
Seaside carries a beautiful sandy beach which is ideal for lounging away the afternoon even though the kids build sand castles and wade in the water. They can surfing if that’s your thing. Downtown Seaside is stuffed with so many cute, craftsy, art and kicknack shops, and you’ll discover everything from a souvenir sweatshirt for amazing sand dollar, or possibly a masterpiece work of art to carry in your home office. They’ve got bumper cars, arcades, i just read that the zip line course not far off! And also the food… oh, there is a lot good food, from the best clam chowder you’ve ever tasted, to fish and chips, and even burgers and steak, delicious food is found everywhere!
Wherever I travel with our family, we now have special traditions we repeat with every trip. I let each member of the family pick one activity that we all do as a family. My oldest son always wants to visit Seaside Aquarium to give the seals. Unlike other aquariums, all the seals listed below are born and bred in captivity, so i could be ok with supporting this dedicated multi-generational aquarium. My daughter has a sweet-tooth, and also by time we park the car she’s already scrambling to move towards the Seaside Candyman, for freshly made saltwater taffy! My hubby loves clam chowder so we always have a tasty lunch or dinner at Norma’s. To me, I really like last memories and photos! Couple of years ago we started taking family photos at Seaside Inverted Experience, because it’s fast, fun, and inexpensive. My kids really love thinking up wacky new photo ideas each and every year, i love comparing our photos removed from years past and seeing how my children grows and changes year to year.
Seaside Inverted Experience is surely an upside-down photo studio where they take multiple pictures for patrons using their cellular phones in all eight inverted scenes. Not only is studio fast and fun, however, you actually own all the photos if they’re done. Most of the novelty photo studios charge an arm as well as a leg, but Inverted Experience we have a couple dozen photos for $25, also, since there is absolutely no copyright we own them and will print and share them however we wish! In mere 15-minutes my children produces a fun memory that may last a lifetime! My tip for families traveling on a tight budget would be to visit Seaside Inverted Experience!
